Uses

TELMACARE 40 H is prescribed for the following conditions:

  • USED AS HYPERTENSION: Telmisartan 40 & hydrochlorothiazide 12.5 tablet is a prescription medication used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension), typically when a single medication is insufficient. It combines Telmisartan (an angiotensin II receptor blocker) to widen blood vessels and Hydrochlorothiazide (a diuretic) to remove excess water, thereby reducing cardiovascular risks like stroke and heart attack.
  • MECHANISM OF ACTION: Relaxes blood vessels for better blood flow and increases urine output to lower blood pressure.
